The World Music Contest is a vibrant celebration of music, an open-air festival that has graced the city of Kerkrade every four years since 1951. Serving as a melting pot of diverse cultures and musical traditions, it offers a unique platform where musicians and visitors from all walks of life converge to share their love for music.
Spanning various locations throughout Kerkrade, one of the festival’s standout events is the competition of marching bands held at the Parkstad Limburg Stadium. Here, talented performers from around the world showcase their skills, uniting audiences through the universal language of music.
In collaboration with the World Music Contest team, we embarked on an exhilarating journey to create the concept, design, and customer journey for the WMC Fanzone, situated within the esteemed stadium where premier league club Roda JC plays. Our vision was simple yet profound: to bridge the gap between fans and bands by offering a space where they could connect and interact before the performances begins and ends.
