Mission H2 at the Olympic Club
A temporary experience as sports sponsorship activation
During the Olympic Games in Paris, the Olympic Club within the TeamNL House became a hub for innovation and sustainability. Here, the Hydrogen Coalition’s ‘Mission H2’ unique traveling experience center, the Hydrogen Inspirience, came to life.
Mission H2, a proud partner of TeamNL, brings together eight key players in the hydrogen sector—Gasunie, Shell Nederland, Groningen Seaports, Port of Amsterdam, Remeha, Toyota, Eneco, and Vopak. These organizations, alongside numerous Dutch companies and the government, are working collaboratively to expand and accelerate the national hydrogen movement.
With the campaign theme ‘The Netherlands, Hydrogen Nation 2030,’ Missie H2 aims to connect and inspire with positive energy. Mission H2 is doing this together with TeamNL, the Watersport Association, the Royal Dutch Rowing Federation, and hydrogen ambassadors Ranomi Kromowidjojo, Marit Bouwmeester, Corné de Koning, Melvin Twellaar, and Stef Broenink. These medal winning top athletes know better than anyone that it is necessary to set a course now in order to fulfill the promise later and perform at their best.
The Hydrogen Inspirience at the Olympic Club offers visitors an interactive journey into the world and stories of the energy transition and the Netherlands as a hydrogen nation. The experience is divided into two zones: an immersive mindset theater and an interactive expo zone. The goal is to engage all the Olympic Club visitors (an audience consisting of international B2B and B2G representatives) in an inspiring way with the stories of The Netherlands as a hydrogen nation.
Beewan Sports from Amsterdam is responsible for the concept, content, design, and realization of the Hydrogen Inspirience with the theme ‘Positive Energy.’
